Heat Protector spray, volume powder, Silhouette spray

  1. Firstly decide where you want the parting to be from the front and slightly zig zag the parting to break it up slightly and add more lift.

  2. Start with the bottom section and curl the hair, use volume powder at the roots and tease the roots out, curl the full row away from the face on either side.

  3. Make sure to fan out the curls as you go and spray into position.

  4. Attach your extensions at the backcombed area at the roots.

  5. Take another section and repeat.

  6. Once you reach the crown area, if you want a bit more of a curl/bend at the root you could curl with the straighteners instead, this depends on what kind of texture you are wanting (before you curl the crown area keep a section out of the way for the twisted detail on the side).

  7. Working on the hair around the front, use the curlers and curl away from the face.

  8. When you come to the right side of the head, you now need to decide what section you need for the twisted detail and move that away for now.

  9. Secure the crown in position by gently twisting the bottom of your section and placing the closed grip upwards.

  10. Once the crown area is secured and the left side is secured, begin to add your detail, pick up your section and begin to create a rope braid going back.

  11. Secure the rope braid in position and work through the braid using your fork comb and fingers to tease it out slightly to add more detail.

  12. Curl the remaining hair with the curlers, again going away from the face.

  13. Finish by teasing out any sections that need more volume and tap over the ends with the straighteners to loosen the ends if needed.

  1. When adding the extensions, weave some of the hair from the underneath through to blend the natural hair and extensions together.

  2. Really open up each curl and spray in position for a fuller finish.
